Ithaca Energy to acquire North Sea business of JAPEX for $223m.

Ithaca Energy, a North Sea oil and gas operator, agreed to acquire North Sea business of JAPEX, a hydrocarbon exploration, production, and transportation company, for $223m. “Today’s announcement regarding the acquisition of JUK shows Ithaca Energy’s growth strategy in action with a highly accretive, easily digestible and synergistic deal that will add incremental production for the Group, in a well-understood, high-value field,” Yaniv Friedman, Ithaca Energy Executive Chairman.
