Poste Italiane to acquire an additional 15% stake in Telecom Italia from Vivendi for €684m.

Poste Italiane, a service distribution network in Italy, agreed to acquire an additional 15% stake in Telecom Italia, an Italian telecommunications company, from Vivendi, a media and entertainment group, for €684m. Upon completion, expected within the first half of 2025, Poste Italiane – already a shareholder with 9.81% of the ordinary shares acquired from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA on 15 February – will hold a total stake in TIM equal to 24.81% of the ordinary shares and 17.81% of the share capital, becoming its largest shareholder.
