AIP Management to acquire 49.9% stake in 300 MWac Solar PV and 200 MW BESS project from Clearway Energy for $200m.

AIP Management, an energy and infrastructure investment company, agreed to acquire 49.9% stake in 300 MWac Solar PV and 200 MW BESS project from Clearway Energy, a clean energy generation assets owner, for $200m. “Pine Forest represents a compelling investment, combining long-term contracted solar revenue with merchant battery storage exposure. A repeat partnership with Clearway, in a project with strong counterparties, and diversified revenue streams align with our strategy to invest in infrastructure that supports the decarbonisation of energy systems while offering good, risk-adjusted returns,” Domenico Tripodi, AIP Partner and Co-Head of Investments.
