JD.com to acquire Dada Nexus for $518m.

JD.com, a Chinese e-commerce company headquartered in Beijing, agreed to acquire Dada Nexus, China’s leading local on-demand retail and delivery platform, for $518m. The merger consideration represents a premium of approximately 42% to the closing price of the ADSs on January 24, 2025, the last trading day before the Company received the preliminary non-binding proposal letter from JD.
