Infineon to acquire Automotive Ethernet business of Marvell for $2.5bn.​

Infineon Technologies, a German semiconductor manufacturer, agreed to acquire Automotive Ethernet business of Marvell Technology, a US-based semiconductor company specializing in data infrastructure products, for $2.5bn.​ "This acquisition will significantly enhance our capabilities in automotive networking solutions, positioning us to better serve the evolving needs of our customers in the era of software-defined vehicles," Jochen Hanebeck, Infineon Technologies CEO.
