Socotec completed the acquisition of Intercontrol.

Socotec, a France-based provider of testing, inspection, and certification services in the construction, real estate, infrastructure, and environmental sectors, completed the acquisition of Intercontrol, a Spain-based company providing technical consulting, quality control, and inspection services. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With the acquisition of Intercontrol Levante, we are continuing our development strategy in Europe. Spain is one of the most dynamic economies in Europe and a growing market for us, and our teams are present on major construction and civil engineering projects. This approach in Spain echoes other investments already made by the group in geotechnics, construction materials testing, and environmental services in France, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the United States," Hervé Montjotin, Socotec CEO.
