AMADA to acquire Via Mechanics.

AMADA, a global manufacturer of metalworking machinery, agreed to acquire Via Mechanics, a manufacturer of PCB drilling machines. Financial terms were not disclosed. The AMADA Group will pursue synergies among its group companies by not only expanding existing businesses, but also by expanding into new fields such as semiconductors with the aim of achieving further growth.
