WWE to acquire AAA from Fillip.

WWE, a company specializing in global sports entertainment, agreed to acquire AAA, a company focused on Mexican lucha libre wrestling, from Fillip, a Mexico-based sports and entertainment holding company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “AAA has been a family-operated promotion for over three decades and our trust could not be better placed than with one of the biggest sports entertainment businesses in the world,” Dorian Roldán Peña, AAA General Manager.
