Monroe Capital, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and MA Asset Management formed a joint venture.

Monroe Capital, a specialty finance investor, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, a multinational banking and financial services institution, and MA Asset Management, a private credit investment manager, formed a joint venture, in a $1.7bn deal. “We are excited to partner with MA Financial and SMBC to leverage Monroe’s robust and comprehensive origination platform for middle market transactions in the United States.
