MiddleGround Capital completed the acquisition of Zoerkler.

MiddleGround Capital, an operationally focused private equity firm that makes control investments in North American and European headquartered middle-market B2B industrial and specialty distribution companies, completed the acquisition of Zoerkler, an Austria-based manufacturer and supplier of high-performance transmission components for the aerospace & defense, automotive, rail, and industrial industries. Financial terms were not disclosed. Zoerkler will be integrated into MiddleGround’s portfolio company, Xtrac, a leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of high-performance transmissions and mechatronics for top-level professional motorsport and specialist high-performance automotive applications
