The Riverside Company Capital-backed BioDue to acquire Biokosmes and Rolf Kullgren from Venture Life Group for €62m.

Synopsis

The Riverside Company Capital-backed BioDue, a dietary supplements and medical devices company, agreed to acquire Biokosmes, an Italian CDMO company specializing in the development and manufacturing of cosmetics and medical devices, and Rolf Kullgren, a contract manufacturer specializing in products for women’s intimate health, from Venture Life Group, a consumer healthcare company that develops, manufactures, and distributes self-care products, for €62m. “We are delighted that BioDue has signed this agreement, which is another example of our strong sector focus, sitting at the cross-section of our Healthcare and Consumer Products & Services specializations. The two businesses have a close cultural fit and are highly complementary, with BioDue focused on food supplements and Biokosmes and Kullgren’s production unit specializing in medical devices and cosmetics. The acquisition will complement and add scale to BioDue’s CDMO business unit, bringing significant potential for synergies," Karsten Langer, Riverside Europe Managing Partner.
