EssilorLuxottica to acquire Optegra from MidEuropa.

EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in vision care and medical technology, agreed to acquire Optegra, a European ophthalmology platform, from MidEuropa, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With the acquisition of Optegra, we are stepping into a new frontier – one where comprehensive eyecare, advanced diagnostics, therapeutic interventions, and surgical treatments come together in one seamless platform," Francesco Milleri, EssilorLuxottica, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
