PayPal, a technology platform company that enables digital and mobile payments on behalf of consumers and merchants, completed the acquisition of a 30% stake in Shopware, a German-based e-commerce software company, from Carlyle Group, an American multinational private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed.
