Planetary completed the merger with Libre Foods.

Planetary, a Switzerland-based company that builds, owns, and operates a global network of fermentation facilities, completed the merger with Green Generation Fund-backed Libre Foods, a biotech startup that developed fungi-based meat alternatives using fermentation technology. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We were happy with the work we’d done at both lab and pilot scale the past few years, and also quickly realized how important access to manufacturing was for commercial success,” Alan Iván Ramos, Libre Foods founder and CEO.
