Synopsis
SWN, a provider of energy, telecommunications, water, mobility, and leisure solutions, Breitbandnetz, a regional company that specializes in providing high-speed internet and television services, and Stadtwerke Geesthacht, a company that provides a range of products and services related to energy and water, completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in OpenNet, an internet service provider company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are convinced that this joint venture will make OpenNet GmbH even stronger. By combining our strengths, we are creating a sustainable partnership. Particularly valuable is the close collaboration with local partners who have in-depth knowledge of the German telecommunications market," Henrik Møller Nielsen, OpenNet CEO.
