Blackstone-backed IMCD to acquire Apus Quimica.

Blackstone-backed IMCD, a food chemicals and ingredients company, agreed to acquire Apus Quimica, a Chilean company specializing in the distribution and development of high-performance chemical products for the plastics, rubber and packaging industries. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are excited to welcome the Apus Quimica team to IMCD.
