Kaingaroa Timberlands completed the acquisition of Te Waihou Plantations from Global Forest Partners Capital-backed Te Waihou Holdings.

Synopsis

Kaingaroa Timberlands, a forestry company managing approximately 215,000 hectares of forest in New Zealand’s Central, completed the acquisition of Te Waihou Plantations, a 9,200 hectares of forestry land in and around the South Waikato area, from Global Forest Partners Capital-backed Te Waihou Holdings. “We are excited to expand our footprint in the South Waikato area, a region with a strong forestry heritage. This acquisition underscores our long-term commitment to New Zealand and our confidence in the forestry industry,” Dean Witehira, KT’s wholly owned subsidiary Timberlands, Chief Operations Officer and Acting Chief Executive.
