Nexus Ligas to acquire a minority stake in a wind generating unit from Neoenergia.

Nexus Ligas, a producer of manganese, agreed to acquire a minority stake in Canoas 3 from Neoenergia, an electric utility company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We believe that this partnership reinforces our firm commitment to expanding the supply of renewable energy sources, electrification and reducing the use of fossil fuels, the basis for the low-carbon energy transition we seek for the country," Eduardo Capelastegui, Neoenergia CEO.
