Viaplay to acquire 50% remaining stake in Allente from Telenor for SEK 1.1bn.

Viaplay Group, a Nordic media and streaming operator, agreed to acquire the 50% remaining stake in Allente, a joint-venture TV and content distribution company serving the Nordic region, from Telenor Group, a Norwegian telecommunications company, for SEK 1.1bn. “We have had a mutually beneficial cooperation with Telenor over the years, and we are excited to take full ownership of Allente.
