Cherry Ventures, UVC Partners, and imec.xpand led a €62m Series A round in Q.ANT.

Cherry Ventures, an early-stage venture firm, UVC Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in technology-based startups, and imec.xpand, an independently managed fund that focuses on hardware based nanotechnology innovations, led a €62m Series A round in Q.ANT, a company developing photonic processing solutions that compute natively with light and deliver a scalable alternative to transistor-based systems, with participation from L-Bank, Verve Ventures, Grazia Equity, Venionaire Capital, LEA Partners, Onsight Ventures, and TRUMPF. This funding will enable Q.ANT to scale production, advance development of next-generation photonic processors, grow its team across disciplines, and expand to the US to support a growing number of customer deployments.
