EssilorLuxottica to acquire Ophthalmic Lens Materials Division of Pucore.

EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses, agreed to acquire Ophthalmic Lens Materials Division of Pucore, a South Korean company specializing in the development and production of polyurethane-based chemical materials. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are happy to welcome PUcore’s optical division and its talented teams into our Group.
