SIMIC, a high-tech investment firm, agreed to acquire a minority stake in CQAOS, a joint venture focused on power semiconductor packaging, testing, and 12-inch wafer fabrication, from Alpha And Omega Semiconductor, a designer, developer, and supplier of a broad range of power semiconductors, for $1.39bn.
