Boroo to acquire the Alturas Project of Barrick Gold Corporation for $50m.

Boroo, a Singapore-based mining investment holding company, agreed to acquire the Alturas Project, a gold exploration asset in Chile’s El Indio Belt, of Barrick Gold Corporation, for $50m. “We are excited to announce the acquisition of the Alturas Project, a key milestone in our strategy to become a global mid-tier metals producer. Chile represents a new and highly attractive jurisdiction for us, and this transaction strengthens our growing presence in South America,” Dulguun Erdenebaatar, Boroo CEO.
