Star Information Systems, a maritime software solutions and services provider, completed the acquisition of Sharecat Data Services, a company that specializes in managing and improving the quality of technical and asset data. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Sharecat is an ideal complement to STAR’s software and services, not only for maritime and energy customers, but also for the broader industrial market.
