BTG Pactual TIG and British Columbia Investment completed the acquisition of Plateau Project of Klabin for $700m.

BTG Pactual TIG, a timberland investment management organization, and British Columbia Investment, a provider of investment management services, completed the acquisition of Plateau Project of Klabin, a producer and exporter of Brazilian papers,for $700m. “This transaction marks an important step in our long-term strategy to invest in sustainably managed timberland in Brazil. It expands our presence in Paraná—a strategically important region for forestry in the country—and reflects our commitment to building scalable platforms alongside long-term institutional partners like BCI and strategic partners like Klabin, whose deep industry knowledge adds meaningful value,” Gerrity Lansing, BTG Pactual TIG Head.
