Westlake to acquire the global compounding solutions businesses of ACI.

Westlake, a manufacturer and supplier of petrochemicals, polymers and fabricated building products, agreed to acquire the global compounding solutions businesses of ACI, a Portugal-based global manufacturer of specialty materials serving the wire and cable sectors. Financial terms were not disclosed. "ACI is an impressive business with an outstanding reputation for its innovative, high-value products. We look forward to working with their talented team once they join Westlake," Jean-Marc Gilson, Westlake President and CEO.
