Louis Dreyfus Company completed the acquisition of Viterra’s former grains & oilseeds activities in Hungary and Poland from Bunge.

Louis Dreyfus Company, a global merchant and processor of agricultural goods, completed the acquisition of Viterra’s former business in Hungary and Poland from Bunge, a global agribusiness and food company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The transaction reflects the Group’s strategic plans to further reinforce its core merchandising capabilities – in this case, for European grains and oilseeds origination, processing and distribution,” Michael Gelchie, Louis Dreyfus Company Chief Executive Officer.
