Diamond Sports Canada completed the acquisition of Ottawa BlackJacks from Canadian Basketball Ventures.

Diamond Sports Canada, a sports investment subsidiary of the Australia-based Global Sports Fund Management Group, completed the acquisition of Ottawa BlackJacks, a professional basketball team, from Canadian Basketball Ventures, corporate entity that owns and operates teams within the Canadian Elite Basketball League, a professional basketball league. Financial terms were not disclosed. "I feel incredibly privileged to be afforded the opportunity to help build a franchise that the entire community can be proud of.
