Niche Polymer to acquire the business assets of Specialty Powders from Lyondellbasell.

Niche Polymer, a US-based custom compounder and toll processor of thermoplastic engineering resins, agreed to acquire the business assets of Specialty Powders, a well-known powder processing solutions provider, from LyondellBasell, a Dutch-domiciled multinational chemical company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This acquisition from LyondellBasell (LYB)aligns perfectly with our mission to provide advanced polymer processing solutions with a strong focus on sustainability.
