Synopsis

Seika, a Tokyo-based general machinery trading company that supplies, imports/exports, and services a wide range of industrial and energy-related equipment, completed the acquisition of Asahi Sunac, a manufacturer of industrial machinery, including surface coating equipment, pneumatic tools, forging machines, and industrial cleaning systems, serving the automotive and manufacturing industries, from Nippon Mirai Capital, a private equity firm, for JPY18bn. “To contribute to international society as a company that creates new technologies,” Asahi Sunac has excellent technological capabilities and engages in the development, manufacturing, and selling of high-value-added products, gaining high recognition from a broad range of customers in and outside of Japan.
