DST Global, a global venture capital and private equity firm, and CapitalG, a private equity firm, led a $225 million Series F funding round in Whatnot, a live shopping platform and marketplace, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Alkeon Capital, Greycroft, Andreessen Horowitz, Avra and Bond. “Whatnot brought the live shopping wave to the US, the UK, and Europe and has turned it into one of the fastest growing marketplaces of all time," Laela Sturdy, CapitalG Board Member and Managing Partner.
