Mondadori to acquire a majority stake in MA Retail from MA.

Mondadori, an Italian bookstore and cultural goods retailer, agreed to acquire a majority stake in MA Retail, an operator of 10 bookstores, from MA, an Italian retail operator active in the bookstore and cultural retail sector. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction will enable Mondadori Retail to further strengthen its directly managed retail network.
