Stewart to acquire the mortgage services business line from Mortgage Contracting Services for $330m.

Stewart Information Services Corporation, a global real estate services company, agreed to acquire the mortgage services business line from Mortgage Contracting Services, a property‑preservation provider serving mortgage servicers and lenders, for $330m. “We are pleased to announce our intent to acquire MCS and look forward to being able to offer property preservation, which supports default servicing, as a new service for our lender and servicer customers.
