Advanced Micro Devices, an American multinational corporation and fabless semiconductor company, completed the acquisition of MK1, a developer of an AI computing engine designed to reduce inference costs. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This acquisition represents another important step in furthering our broader AI strategy while bolstering our inference and enterprise AI capabilities. By combining MK1’s software innovation with our leading compute capabilities, we’re expanding what’s possible in unlocking AI for everyone," Advanced Micro Devices statement.
