Synopsis
EBARA, a industrial machinery group, agreed to acquire Three-Phase Motor Business of Mitsubishi Electric, a Japanese multinational electronics and electrical equipment manufacturing company. Financial terms are not disclosed. "Motors are essential core components for industrial machinery. By leveraging this business transfer as an opportunity to integrate motors and industrial machinery, we will expand the deployment of high-value-added solutions, such as energy efficiency and predictive maintenance, going beyond product provision. We will inherit the technical expertise, customer base, and human resources that Mitsubishi Electric has accumulated over many years, fundamentally transform our business structure through the technological fusion of research and development, and optimize our global supply chain management to integrate the resources of both companies. We aim to maximize the synergies created from this integration to drive business growth and further expand our presence in the global market," Shu Nagata, EBARA Executive Officer and President.
