Eclipse Power to acquire Vattenfall Networks from Vattenfall.

Eclipse Power, a company which operates as an independent power producer and independent distribution network operator, agreed to acquire Vattenfall Networks, a company which develops, owns and operates electricity networks, from Vattenfall, an integrated energy company that produces and sells electricity and heat. Financial terms were not disclosed. This transaction represents a valuable opportunity for Vattenfall and the IDNO business. While customers, suppliers, and employees can expect continuity and confidence in ongoing operations, the integration with Eclipse will provide increased opportunities for the IDNO business to scale up, supporting growth and accelerating electrification across the UK.
