GlobalFoundries completed the acquisition of InfiniLink.

GlobalFoundries, a semiconductor company specializing in chip manufacturing, foundry services, and advanced semiconductor solutions, completed the acquisition of InfiniLink, a semiconductor startup building chips focused on high-speed connectivity. Financial terms were not disclosed. This strategic acquisition, in addition to expanding manufacturing capacity, turbocharge our roadmap. They expand manufacturing muscle and enhance our design capabilities, enabling GlobalFoundries to deliver a superior, broader roadmap for both pluggable transceivers and co-packaged optics. This opens new opportunities into adjacent markets like sensing and quantum computing.
