Silver Lake-backed Cegid to acquire Shine from Investcorp Technology Partners.

Silver Lake-backed Cegid, a cloud business management solutions provider, agreed to acquire Shine, a provider of software solutions for banking applications, that automates and facilitates the administrative tasks, from Investcorp Technology Partners, the technology private equity arm of Investcorp. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This merger with Shine is a natural step in Cegid’s mission to simplify and accelerate the growth of our Small Business division. Together, we will offer entrepreneurs a combined platform that unites payment, accounting, and payroll – helping them focus on what matters most: building their business,” Bruno Vaffier, Cegid General Manager.
