Apax Partners completed the acquisition of Yad2 from KKR-backed AVIV Group for $950m.

Synopsis

Apax Partners, an independent partnership focused solely on long-term investment in growth companies, completed the acquisition of Yad2, an Israeli online classified marketplace, from KKR-backed AVIV Group, a digital real estate tech company, for $950m. “We have very ambitious plans,” Schoenfeld told Yad2 management in a call reported by CalcalisTech. “Our future is in our hands. We were sold to Apax London, the biggest player in the global classifieds world. They come with tremendous expertise. In the coming weeks, they will arrive in Israel, and you’ll meet them and see the depth and understanding they bring," Tomy Schoenfeld, Yad2 CEO.
