Premetec, a Outokumpu-based contract, tool, and machining subcontractor, completed the merger with Koneistamo Alm, a Kajaani-based precision mechanics manufacturer and systems supplier. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With this corporate restructuring, we are strengthening our service capabilities towards customers and increasing capacity. At the same time, we are gaining new expertise in the production of precise contract manufacturing parts and tools. The arrangement will ensure the availability of high-quality products also in the future," Mika Alm, Koneistamo Alm CEO.
