Unifrutti Group to acquire Safco Peru for $150m.

Unifrutti Group, a company specializing in the production, r&d, marketing and distribution of fresh fruit, agreed to acquire Safco Peru, a group of companies dedicated to the production, packing, and marketing of fresh fruit, for $150m. "This acquisition represents another step in our journey towards creating the world's leading sustainable multi-fruit company, with an integrated 52-week supply," Mohamed Elsarky, Unifrutti Group CEO.
