Honda Motor to acquire an additional stake in Astemo from Hitachi.

Honda Motor, a Japanese automotive manufacturer, agreed to acquire an additional stake in Astemo, an automotive components and systems supplier, from Hitachi, a Japanese multinational conglomerate. Financial terms were not disclosed. Astemo has strengths in both hardware and software technologies and will continue to be an important partner for Honda, and the growth of Astemo is indispensable for Honda to enhance its SDV development capabilities and cost competitiveness.
