Serica Energy to acquire an additional 15% stake in the Cygnus gas field from Centrica for £98m.

Serica Energy, a British independent oil and gas exploration and production company, agreed to acquire an additional 15% stake in the Cygnus gas field from Centrica, a British multinational energy and services company, for £98m. The disposal has a commercial effective date of 1 January 2025 and is expected to complete in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and with customary interim period adjustments to be applied.
