Inversiones Cuscatlán Centroaméricato acquire Banistmo from Grupo Cibest for $1.4bn.

Inversiones Cuscatlán Centroamérica agreed to acquire Banistmo, a Panama-based bank specializing in personalized banking solutions, from Grupo Cibest, a financial holding company, for $1.418bn. “We are convinced that this transaction will bring clear advantages for our clients. Cuscatlán's experience and regional knowledge will allow us to combine capabilities and generate value,” Juan Carlos Mora, Grupo Cibest CEO.
