NewPort Capital, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of a 60% stake in PXR, an independent digital media and technology group based in the Netherlands. Financial terms were not disclosed. By owning a 60% stake in both a content powerhouse (PXR) and a performance marketing group, Newport creates an ecosystem. PXR provides the premium reach and audience, while the marketing agencies provide the conversion expertise, allowing the group to offer end-to-end solutions for advertisers.
