Peoria Resources to acquire oil and gas business of Verdad Resources for $1.3bn.

Peoria Resources, a private exploration and production company focused on operated oil and gas assets, agreed to acquire oil and gas business of Verdad Resources, an operator focused on horizontal development in the DJ Basin, for $1.3bn "Peoria and JUS partnered earlier this year to pursue the acquisition of operated US onshore oil and gas assets. This acquisition represents a key milestone in that partnership and establishes a strong foundation for continued investment in the US onshore oil and gas sector," David Kita, Peoria Chief Technical Officer.
