Champion Iron to acquire Rana Gruber from La Caisse and Scotiabank for $289m.

Champion Iron, an iron ore producer and exporter, agreed to acquire Rana Gruber, an iron ore miner and mineral products manufacturer, from La Caisse, a pension fund investor, and Scotiabank, a bank and financial services provider, for $289m.
