Birch Hill Equity Partners, a private equity firm, and Gestion Claude Bigras, a holding company, agreed to acquire GDI Integrated Facility Services, a provider of integrated facility management services, for $895m. Birch Hill has been a significant investor in GDI since 2012. This transaction allows the company to deepen that partnership with a private equity firm that has a history of scaling Canadian mid-market businesses.
