Synopsis
Ramboll, an engineering, design, and consultancy company, agreed to acquire Envidan, a water and wastewater specialist, from Waterland, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This is a very important acquisition for Ramboll as joining forces with Envidan will be truly transformational for our global water business unit, significantly boosting our competences in the Nordics. Across the world water has become a critical resource we must protect and carefully manage. Together, we will be able to offer a complete range of services addressing key market drivers such as climate change adaptation, aging infrastructure and new regulations on water quality and nature.
