Bed Bath & Beyond, an ecommerce-focused retailer with an affinity model that owns or has ownership interests in various retail brands, agreed to acquire Tokens.com, a publicly traded Web3 technology company focused on blockchain staking, digital asset investment, and metaverse-related products and services. Financial terms were not disclosed. The goal is to establish critical foundation for a unified investment and personal finance platform. The platform will address a fragmented market for financial services by delivering a one-stop journey for real estate and other real-world asset finance that bridges tokenized and traditional investing.
